Whats going on?

Lets say there is a meeting of heads of state in Kampala tomrow, what would the entire picture be??
I don’t seem to understand if all the billboards and messages across media about Uganda being ready for CHOGAM is reality or something to do will pretending to be ready for the big meeting yet I don’t think we are ready like they read. Move around the city suburbs and see what I mean, am talking about a 5 minutes drive out of the Business District and you will see all the mess that has always been around.
Ideally there should be a significant change in the face of the city, which is yet to be achieved in the next 90 days before the meeting starts. That’s if there are genuine preparations being made for the meeting. Not even the roads are in shape; leave alone the junctions heading out of the city center.
Keepings fingers crossed and prayers ofcourse that we will be there in time. I sometimes wonder if our beloved President knows or even makes follow-ups on what he starts. I’m totally wondering the kind of investor who was supposed to build a CHOGAM Hotel at the Shimoni Dem. school premises, we lost that important historical education center for our kids, 90 days to go, there isn’t a single stone on the site. Now, this is not funny but I don’t want to imagine its 'hidden politics once again! Who was that land given to? What is the government doing about all this mess?
Let me go find more news, i just got a call from a buddy who is heading north to Bwaise... hope I can guess why, its raining heavily this afternoon, I need a boat and a life jacket! Brb
