Yusuf Juuko grabbed an injury time winner as SC Villa recorded a narrow 3-2 Super League victory over Kinyara at Namboole yesterday.

Juuko had provided the assist for Geoffrey Luuto to give Villa a first half lead but Gideon Ssekamwa levelled for the visitors on 58 minutes. Confusion in the Villa defence provided Ssekamwa an opportunity to put Kinyara ahead on 74 minutes, sounding drums of a second straight loss for the Jogoos.

Six minutes later, Emma Okwi grabbed Villa’s leveller from the spot after he had been brought down in the box before setting up for Juuko to score a priceless injury time winner.

Second half substitute Isaac Kisujju had to stand in the posts for over five minutes after SC Villa goalkeeper Yasin Mugabi picked an injury and Kinyara were unlucky to lose the game. Express FC were meanwhile held 0-0 by home side Iganga.
