URA shuns Atraco men

URA FC officials yesterday snubbed Rwandan side Atraco whose officials had sneaked into the country to finalise deals with the taxmen’s player Johnson Bagoole.

Atraco were also interested in Police head coach Sam Timbe.

URA team manager Idris Ssesanga confirmed that Bagoole met the unidentified officials at a secret location in Kampala.

“They did not tell us that they were coming so we were not ready for them. But Bagoole met them although he is yet to brief us,” Ssesanga told The New Vision yesterday.

Meanwhile, Police is looking for a local tactician to replace Timbe who has already informed the club of his impending departure.
