South African Premiership side, Bloemfontein Celtic, have made another addition to their squad ahead of the new season by signing Ugandan striker Geofrey Sserunkuma.
Sserunkuma, who previously had a short stint in South Africa with Benoni Premier United, now known as Thanda Royal Zulu FC, has signed a one-year contract with Celtic.Celtic manager Khumbulani Konco has confirmed the signing of the Ugandan, who also played for St George FC in Ethiopia.
"We have reinforced all our departments, but we have still been struggling to find a quality striker," he says.
"In the few weeks he has trained with us, Sserunkuma has proved to be very good striker and that’s why we didn't hesitate to sign him.
"We have just completed his signing this morning and have handed him with a one-year contract."
Konco said they will be making one more new signing before the transfer deadline on Friday.
